Welcome Workshop “Mujeres que Brillan”: Supporting Women’s Empowerment

During July, AES Panamá held a welcome workshop at its offices for the winners of the “Mujeres que Brillan” program. This initiative, led by the AES Panamá Foundation, is designed to empower women entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary tools to continue developing and excelling in their businesses.

The “Mujeres que Brillan” program offers comprehensive support, including in-kind financing and mentorship. During the workshop, participants were presented with the allocated funding of $5,000 in-kind, which will be complemented by guidance and mentorship from AES Panamá volunteers. This support aims to help the winners access additional resources from the public, private, and civil society sectors, promoting the growth and success of their projects

The AES Panamá Foundation will accompany the entrepreneurs for six months, from August to January 2025, to ensure the proper execution of their initiatives. During this period, participants will receive personalized mentoring and training in key areas such as creating and managing social media accounts, branding strategies, product sales, and content creation, enhancing their business skills and market presence.

The “Mujeres que Brillan” program reinforces AES Panamá’s commitment to equity and women’s empowerment, promoting entrepreneurship as a driver of social and economic transformation in the country. With this initiative, AES Panamá is not only investing in the future of the participating women but also in the development of their communities, generating a positive and lasting impact
