December 16, 2024

The AES Panama Foundation has been recognized with the prestigious CAPADESO Seal, standing out for its commitment to responsible management and transparency in its operations. With this certification, the foundation joins the second generation of nonprofit organizations promoting sustainable development in Panama under high ethical and technical standards.

The CAPADESO Seal, awarded by the Panamanian Chamber of Social Development (CAPADESO), certifies organizations that, after a process of self-assessment and independent evaluation, demonstrate good practices in governance, management, and transparency across all their projects.

This recognition has strengthened the internal processes of the AES Panama Foundation, optimizing resource management, project execution, and transparency in its operations. These efforts reaffirm the foundation's commitment to continuous improvement and ensure a positive and sustainable impact in the communities where it operates.

Stephanie Lezcano, Director of the AES Panama Foundation, stated: "As a relatively young foundation, receiving the CAPADESO Seal is a testament to teamwork and our dedication to responsible and transparent management in every one of our projects."

The CAPADESO Seal serves as an incentive for the AES Panama Foundation to continue its mission of improving quality of life in communities through sustainable projects that foster economic and social development.

CAPADESO is a network of nonprofit organizations that promote social development in Panama. Its objectives include certifying entities that, after a rigorous evaluation, achieve a performance score above 80%, demonstrating their ability to operate in alignment with their mission and the needs of their beneficiaries.
