The AES Panamá Foundation proudly celebrated its outstanding participation in the 2024 International Book Fair, organized by the Panamanian Chamber of Books. This event, held from August 13 to 18 at the Atlapa Convention Center, brought together thousands of visitors and solidified its position as one of the country’s most important cultural events. The fair provided the perfect setting for the launch of "Discover Energy with Lucía Spark," an educational book designed to introduce children and young people to the fascinating world of energy and its impact on sustainable development in Panama.

During the fair, the AES Panamá Foundation's stand became a vibrant meeting point, attracting over 4,000 visitors, including families, educators, and students. The interest in the book "Discover Energy with Lucía Spark" exceeded expectations, with more than 1,000 free copies distributed alongside educational materials that provided attendees with valuable tools to understand the importance of energy in daily life and its role in building a more sustainable future.

In addition to offering educational materials, the Foundation's stand served as an interactive space for exchanging ideas and knowledge about clean energy, the energy transition, and the importance of sustainability. Engaging and educational activities captured the attention of young visitors, encouraging them to explore and learn more about how energy impacts their environment.

The participation in the Book Fair reaffirms the AES Panamá Foundation's commitment to education and raising awareness about energy, highlighting its role in promoting environmental consciousness from an early age. Through this initiative, the Foundation continues to work on creating innovative educational resources and implementing projects that inspire new generations to appreciate and understand energy as a driving force of progress and well-being for society.
